 About Cyprus

Cyprus, being one of the largest islands in the Mediterranean, is full of interesting holiday activities.  You can laze on one of the many sandy beaches, soaking up what seems to be never-ending sunshine, explore the forest clad mountains, swim or even go diving in the beautiful blue sea.  If you are interested in the historical aspects of the Island you can go back in time and visit ancient monuments and quaint little villages with winding streets.  For the more adventurous, you can go horse riding, fishing and hiking to mention just a few.  There are so many choices for you that you will not be bored during your vacation.

There is a Water Park near to Paphos, where you can spend the day with family and friends, having fun splashing around and enjoying yourself on the many water slides.  Jeep Safari Tours, Sea Cruises from Paphos, excellent Golf courses and even flights to Egypt, if you fancy going further afield during your stay, to visit the Pyramids, are also available.

At night there are many tavernas where you can try the local Greek cuisine.  You cannot leave Cyprus without having sampled a "Meze" which seems like an endless meal of various dishes.  There is also a choice of cheap and more expensive restaurants, bars and small nightclubs.

Cyprus is easy to reach, with flights going from Heathrow, Gatwick and many other UK airports averaging approximately 4.5 hours flying time.  Paphos is the nearest airport to the Villas being approximately 35 minutes away but if you fly to Larnaca it only takes about 2 hours to drive to Coral Bay on a modern motorway type road which is virtually completed.

The electricity supply in Cyprus is 240 Volts, a.c. 50 Hz.  Sockets are standard UK 3 pin shaped, 13 amp sockets/plugs in our villas.  So you will not need any form of adapter.
